Umberto N. Rescinio


Umberto N. Rescinio is a graduate of Upsala College and brings more than 40 years experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors of the accounting profession. He is often called upon to represent clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service and the New Jersey Division of Taxation. His knowledge of the New Jersey Statutes and Administrative Codes assists clients in the New Jersey Division of Taxation audits of sales, individual and corporate income taxes. Mr. Rescinio is particularly experienced with the New Jersey Department of Labor audits in the areas of wage and hour, and employee subcontract statutes. He is also a former chairman of the Department of Labor Committee of the NJ Society of CPAs. Mr. Rescinio is a Past President and Trustee of the Central New Jersey Estate Planning Council, and has provided assistance and guidance in various estate planning matters including the preparation of related State and Federal returns. He is also experienced in the areas of construction, food services, military systems, financial services, strategic organizational planning and systems studies, insurance, and multi-national exporting.

Mr. Rescinio’s professional and community service involvements include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Central New Jersey Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Community Associates Institute, at which he provides assistance in condominium management and development. He was the Chairman of the Department of Labor Committee of the New Jersey CPA Society/New Jersey Tax Committee. Further, Mr. Rescinio is a member of the Amerigo Vespucci Society and the Knights of Columbus. He has also been appointed to the Monmouth County Board of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission.
